My first dance I went to were Sir Fanso he played Reggae,Soul, Ska, those dances went on till dawn, there was not much problem because it was all about enjoyment. I became part of Sir Fanso sound but listen to other sounds around town.

In 1967, I started putting my sound together the first name was imperial downbeat then later changed to Fatman my sound consists Donald the syyelector and three box boys our first dance was in a house in hornsey those days was all about houseparty then we started to play throughout London we played exclusive music coming from Jamaica and America we started expanding and playing in clubs all over the globe allowing us to advertise the music playing artist like Bob Marley and the Wailers, Owen Gray , Larry Aitkens, Toots and the Maytals, and many more we acted like a radio station to establish artist coming from Jamaica.

These are a few places where we played music ie. Four Aces, Red Lion, Bluesville, Pheobes, Nightingale, Club 7 (Holloway) and many more. I started working in the eighties with names like Blackbeard, King tubbys, Bunny Striker Lee, Niney Observor, Scratch lee perry , Joe Gibbs, Studio One, Treasure Isle, King Jammy, and many more establishing Dub music and more exclusive music from various producers.
