Rupture founders Double O and Mantra go Old Skool for One Love Festival

Rupture is one of London’s best drum & bass parties. Helmed by Indi Khera and David Henry, better known under their aliases Mantra and Double O, the pair launched the party to express their love of deep drum & bass and jungle in the mid-2000s, taking inspiration from other nights like Metalheadz found around East London at the time. Much has changed in the capital’s D&B community since those early days, but one thing that’s remained constant is Rupture’s place at the vanguard of the scene.

The Rupture movement began as a way to showcase the jungle and breaks side of the drum and bass spectrum. Known for pushing experimental, cutting edge production along side classic jungle amens, the key to the Rupture sound is having roots planted deeply in the underground.
